I’m excited to put up this post, because not only is it a wedding (which I love to capture) but it is a very good friend’s wedding. My dear friend Ruthy. I have been friends with Ruthy for about 8 or 9 years now and have experienced a lot of life and a lot of growing up. It is so fun to see where the precious people in our lives end up on this crazy journey through life. Ruthy and Andy met only a short time ago in Seattle, WA. When they met, it was like the stars aligned and all was right in the world. (AKA…God’s plan!!) I was and still am smiling from ear to ear for my dear friend.
Their wedding was a beautiful and joyous occasion. There were plenty of tears and even more laughter. They were married in Flagstaff, AZ, of which I had never been. It is gorgeous there, and the winter wonderland they had on their wedding, otherwise known as a blizzard, made for a very cozy feel to the day. I was still determined to take some of the photos outside…and we did it! Though my fingers were literally frozen, I couldn’t complain because the girls were wearing short dresses and high heels. What troopers they were!!!!

A few happy moments during the ceremony. It really was a very beautiful ceremony but included a lot of laughs. Andy started busting up laughing mid ceremony and had the whole congregation going. It was great!!
