Ben and Courtney were married on June 15th, with a ceremony and reception at the Bogus Basin Pioneer Lodge.

Ben and Courtney - At Home Outdoors

I first met Ben and Courtney up in the wild land of Stanley, Idaho. We planned a late fall engagement session, but as anyone who lives in the mountains knows, the weather can be iffy that time of year. But as we talked over several text messages about a stormy forecast for the day of the session, their adventurous spirit and mine combined, we decided to go for it! Storm or no storm, we were going to make it happen, and I’m SO glad we did!

A Wedding on a Mountaintop

Given all the fun and adventure we had during their engagement session, it was no surprise that they chose Bogus Basin for their “I do”s! It’s beautiful and epic in its own right, so the very top of the mountain was perfect for them. And just look at the light! Oh, the light! It was such a perfect day!

Courtney looked just like a princess—marrying her prince in cowboy boots. :) If they could have pulled it off, they would have absolutely had Ben on a horse to sweep her away and ride off into their new lives. Sadly, it wasn’t in the cards, but what a great dream!

My Quote for the Bride and Groom:

(From the mouth of Winnie the Pooh :0)

"As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen."

Courtney & Ben, never ever stop adventuring together. The best is only yet to come! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be just a small part of your adventures together!
